Job Description
Company Overview Columbus Behavioral Center provides specialized mental health services to children and adolescents aged 12 to 18. Our facility is dedicated to delivering safe, individualized treatment within a supportive environment, promoting positive outcomes for each patient through evidence-based therapies and collaborative care. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Outpatient (IOP) Therapist to join our telehealth team, providing vital mental health services to youth and their families remotely. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in clinical counseling, with expertise in psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and working with children and individuals with disabilities. Program Highlights Four to six weeks of programming, depending on clinical need Can help bridge the gap between acute level of care and outpatient individual therapy Can utilize as an alternative to inpatient treatment Can serve as a step-down from residential or acute mental health treatment addressing the following: Depression Mood disorders Anxiety disorders Trauma history Suicidal ideation Self-harm behaviors This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by delivering compassionate care through innovative telehealth platforms. Responsibilities Providing direct clinical services including IOP group format and individual and family services as needed Completing psychosocial assessment upon admission Case management and treatment planning Timely documentation that reflect medical necessity Aftercare coordination Insurance utilization, prior authorizations, and follow-up Other duties as needed to promote program growth
Qualifications Education:
Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work or a clinically related mental health field.Experience:
Minimum requirement (1) year of experience providing direct clinical services (preferably with Adolescents.) Must have strong clinical assessment skills and working knowledge of the DSM.License:
LCSW, LMHC, LMHCa, or LSW preferred. License required.Preferred experience:
Patient population experience with youth and group therapy programming. Experience working within HIPAA guidelines ensuring confidentiality and security of medical documentation.
