Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Behavior Consultant 1099 Contractor and make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and individuals with developmental disabilities. In this role, you will deliver evidence-based behavioral interventions to promote positive growth and skill development. This flexible position offers the opportunity to work independently while providing impactful services that foster independence, communication, and social skills. Your expertise will help create tailored treatment plans, conduct assessments, and support families through collaborative care. Duties Implement individualized behavioral intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) for clients with autism and other developmental disabilities Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify client needs and progress Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously to monitor treatment effectiveness and inform ongoing care strategies Provide training and support to families, caregivers, and educational teams to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies across environments Maintain accurate reports, intake documentation, and HIPAA-compliant files in accordance with privacy regulations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and adjust treatment plans aligned with client goals Perform client care activities including patient assessment, progress reporting, and participation in team meetings to optimize therapeutic outcomes Skills Proven experience in behavioral therapy techniques, especially applied behavior analysis (ABA) Strong background working with children and individuals with disabilities, including those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Positive, reliable, and independent professional Strong communication and training skills Organized and detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines Comfortable creating your own schedule and managing caseload Reliable vehicle for travel within LaPorte and surrounding counties. Excellent assessment skills combined with a compassionate care approach Effective communication skills for training families, caregivers, and team members on behavioral strategies Qualifications (must meet one) Master's in ABA, psychology, counseling, special education, social work, or related field Licensed LMFT, LCSW, or LMHC under Indiana Code
IC 25-23
Master's in a human services field plus 5+ years of experience developing/monitoring BSPs Additional Requirements to be obtained and submitted prior to signing the contract: Background checks (state and county) Proof of degree/transcripts Driver's license, registration, and insurance Negative TB test Adult & Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification Liability insurance ($1-3 million coverage) 10 hours of CEUs annually
Pay:
$50.00 - $60.00 per hour
