Job Description

About us Kentucky Christian Recovery is an Inpatient Recovery Center that serves individuals with Substance Use Disorders from a wholistic approach. KCR is located on 24 beautiful acres that is nestled in the heart of butler county where clients can get away from the noise of everyday life. The Primary Therapist utilizes a multidimensional approach to ensure a high-quality continuum of care with provision of clinical assessments, diagnostic formulation, treatment planning and intervention, individual and group work, psycho -education, relapse prevention, family services, and discharge planning in a supportive therapeutic environment.
Minimum Experience:
one or more years of clinical experience working in addictions or mental health setting. Job Responsibilities Conduct quality biopsychosocial assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients Educate patients on addiction and dual diagnoses Provide integrated, comprehensive care to patients experiencing co-occurring disorders Utilize a strength-based and trauma-informed approach to support patients in the treatment and recovery processes Facilitate psychoeducational and process groups Provide individual therapy with each patient on caseload Liaise with loved ones to develop and strengthen a healthy support system Model effective communication and healthy coping skills Complete documentation requirements; maintain quality, up-to-date clinical records in alignment with standards of care Work collaboratively with all clinical, medical, residential, and other staff as necessary Maintain compliance with continuing education requirements Participate in all clinical staff meetings, staff development, and trainings as required Maintain Professional Liability Insurance for personal protection in at least of $1,000,000 Qualifications Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
