Job Title:
FPP Clinician/Therapist-Lake Cumberland Company:
Buckhorn Children & Family Services Program:
Family Preservation and Reunification We are seeking qualified applicants to fill full time clinical positions in our Lake Cumberland (Somerset) and Cumberland Valley (Corbin) offices. Applicants are searching for a rewarding and fulfilling job and are excited to work with families in crisis. Responsibilities will include instilling hope and being a support to the family as well as to assist with developing Family Agreement treatment goals, directing and providing in-home therapeutic services specializing in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Family Functional Therapy (FFT). Training will be provided. Some off duty hours are required. Must be able to work a flexible work schedule and be willing to travel to any ofthe ten counties in the Lake Cumberland region. Services are provided in the clients home. No experience required. Must provide an official transcript and copy of Diploma.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & TASKS
  • Responsible for therapeutic intervention with individuals or groups.
  • Responsible for a small caseload.
  • Prepare treatment plans and serve on treatment team.
  • Provides assessment of children and their families.
  • Provides treatment services and therapeutic milieu.
  • Must be able to defuse potentially dangerous situations, and remain calm in an emergency.
  • Must be able to utilize behavior management techniques and serve as a role model.
  • Must be able to interact in a warm compassionate manner.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with suicidal, mentally, emotionally, and/or psychologically disturbed clients in person and over the telephone.
THERAPIST QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must have a Master's Degree in a human services field.
  • Candidate must hold a valid Kentucky license (i.
e. LPCC, LSCW, LMFT or LPP) or certification (i.e.
LPCA, CSW
with supervision, LPA
  • Psych. Assoc.) to provide therapy.
  • Kentucky State Board approved supervision provided, as needed.
  • If supervision is required the salary is 60,000.
00 and if supervision is not required the salary is 65,000.00.
