Responsibilities include psychosocial assessments, care planning, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, patient/family education, and coordination of resources to support patient outcomes and discharge planning.

Essential FunctionsComplete diagnostic intakes and psychosocial assessmentsProvide psychotherapy and psychosocial support to assigned patientsCollaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support care coordination and patient progressSupport discharge planning by addressing psychosocial barriers and connecting patients with resourcesMonitor medication effectiveness and report concerns to the physician as neededMaintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standardsUse feedback-informed treatment (FIT) in clinical practiceConduct or assist with family meetings, referrals, and case-related coordinationParticipate in quality improvement, committees, and on-call coverage as assignedProvide coverage for absences and vacancies when neededQualificationsMaster's degree in applied psychology or related fieldMaryland LGPC or LMSW requiredStrong communication, collaboration, and documentation skillsKnowledge of community resources and patient care coordinationProficiency with electronic health records and basic office systemsOne year of healthcare-related experience preferred; field placement may count toward experience
Salary Range:
Minimum 32.40/hour•Maximum 53.48/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases w the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
