Starting Salary:
$50,000-$53,000+ annually (based on licensure and experience) Flexible Scheduling | Full-Time or Part-Time Options Fee-for-Service options may be available Annual training budget provided Upper Bay Counseling & Support Services (UBCSS) is seeking a compassionate Early Childhood Therapist to join our team. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work with young children and their families through play therapy, school-based services, and child trauma-focused care. Depending on your interests and experience, this position may include part-time play therapy or full-time work across multiple child-focused programs , including early childhood, school-based, and special populations. Strong Benefits Package What You'll Do:
Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and families Deliver services in school-based and/or outpatient settings Serve as a treatment coordinator and provide case management services Consult and collaborate with caregivers, staff, and community partners Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Participate in team-based care and ongoing professional development
What We're Looking For:
Master's or Doctoral degree in a mental health discipline Active Maryland licensure or willingness to transfer:
LGPC/LCPC, LMSW/LCSW, LGMFT/LCMFT
Preferred minimum of two (2) years of psychotherapy or mental health experience Strong interest and/or experience working with children under age 5 Interest and willingness to receive training in Child-Centered Play Therapy Strong organizational and communication skills •The salary listed reflects an estimated base rate for a full-time, fully licensed (LC) therapist and includes potential bonus opportunities. Compensation may increase based on experience. Factors such as part-time status, licensure level (LG/LM), program assignment, and productivity expectations may impact total compensation.•
