Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder, to implement individualized behavior intervention plans. Your efforts will help improve communication, social skills, and daily living abilities while fostering a positive and supportive environment. Duties Implement behavior intervention plans developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to promote skill acquisition and reduce challenging behaviors Collect and record data on client progress, behaviors, and responses accurately and consistently to inform ongoing treatment adjustments Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting, to support independence Support teaching sessions by utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) strategies tailored to each individual's needs Engage with children and individuals with developmental disabilities in home-based or community settings to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions Maintain confidentiality of client information in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure accurate medical documentation and records are kept up-to-date Collaborate with team members to develop, review, and update care plans that address autism spectrum disorders support and behavior management goals Requirements Valid RBT certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or eligibility for certification Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or in special education environments is preferred Strong understanding of applied behavior analysis principles and behavioral health practices Ability to work effectively with children and individuals on the autism spectrum in various settings, including home-based environments Excellent communication skills for documenting medical records, progress notes, and care plans clearly and professionally Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health care is advantageous Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards outlined in the Professional and Ethical Compliance Code for Behavior Analysts Ability to follow detailed instructions, maintain patience, and adapt interventions based on individual needs Join us in empowering individuals through compassionate care and innovative behavioral strategies!
