Intern: Mental Health Therapist

Description Responsibilities:

Provide individual counseling sessions under the supervision of a licensed clinician. Collaborate with our team to develop personalized treatment plans for clients. Document client interactions and progress in our electronic health record system. Engage in regular supervision to reflect on your practice and enhance your skills. Participate in team meetings and training opportunities to expand your knowledge and professional network. Work with clients to address a variety of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Uphold ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality in all interactions. Follow expectations set by the host school for internship requirements and responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

Enrollment in a Master's program in counseling, social work, or a related field. A desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others through compassionate care. Strong communication skills and a willingness to collaborate with a team. The ability to manage your time effectively and balance internship responsibilities with coursework. A commitment to learning and growing as a professional in the mental health field.
