Summary:
Provide quality mental health services for children and adolescents in a school setting. Services are client-centered and delivered primarily onsite at identified school buildings within the District. The position includes assessment, individual and group therapy, and case management. Positive outcomes are achieved through purposeful and respectful relationships rooted in trauma-informed care, hope, and evidence-based practice of therapeutic care. Hiring for the 2026-2027 school year.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide therapeutic services to individual and small groups of students Support mental health crisis events, including suicide prevention efforts Participate in teaching and learning opportunities for parents and staff Maintain confidentiality Support school-based teams in problem-solving discussions and developing support plans Maintain record keeping and Medicaid billing, when applicable Assist families in connecting with community partners for long-term care Communicate clearly, respectfully, and directly with team members and stakeholders. Initiate and maintain relationships with district-wide community partners. Other duties as assigned

Qualification Requirements:

Experience:
Masters Degree in social work or related field State License (LMSW / LLMSW / LPC etc.) required Valid Drivers License, Auto Insurance, and Clean driving record Prior experience working with children and families Knowledge of school systems/supports in the school district you have a desire to work in
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from the community, regulatory agencies or staff members.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and ledgers.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
