Flexible | Part-Time or Full-Time Caseload Available Join a Practice Where Clients Are Already Waiting! Integrative Health & Wellness is expanding! We are seeking a compassionate, creative, and dedicated Play Therapist to join our growing multidisciplinary team as an Independent Contractor (1099). You'll have access to furnished office space, collaboration with other professionals, flexible scheduling, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on children and families throughout Metro Detroit. What You'll Do Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial and developmental assessments. Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions. Provide child-centered play therapy for children experiencing emotional, behavioral, developmental, or social challenges. Offer parent coaching and family therapy as appropriate. Utilize evidence-based practices including Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, and other clinically appropriate modalities. Maintain timely clinical documentation and treatment records in accordance with HIPAA and professional standards. Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, schools, physicians, and community partners to coordinate care. Provide services for children experiencing anxiety, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, trauma, behavioral concerns, emotional regulation difficulties, grief, family transitions, and other mental health concerns. Participate in case consultation and interdisciplinary collaboration as needed. Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Holds a Michigan LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, LLP, LP, or LMFT (or is license eligible where applicable). Has experience or interest in working with children and families. Has experience or training in Play Therapy (Registered Play Therapist preferred but not required). Demonstrates strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and excellent communication skills. Values collaboration and family-centered care. Maintains professional liability insurance (or is willing to obtain it before seeing clients). Graduate Students Welcome! We also welcome applications from graduate-level counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy, and social work students seeking clinical experience or internship opportunities. Supervision opportunities may be available depending on program requirements.
