School-based mental health services reach children in everyday environments. The natural, non-stigmatizing location offers an early and effective environment for intervention. Also allows for increased opportunity for coordination of care with the therapist having access to children in their school sites with school team. This increases access for busy families and reducing variables that may prevented individuals from receiving care.
Schedule:
Full-Time 1.0 FTE, 20 hours per week at North Education Center, .20 hours a week as an Assessor completing assessments and comprehensive evaluations at our youth programs.

Hiring Range:
Salary variable on licensure and qualifications. Salary below reflects 1.0FTE hiring range.
Licensed Mental Health Therapist:

Main Job Duties:
Developing and maintaining therapeutic relationships with children, parents, and other family members Conducting individual therapy and, as needed, conducting family and group therapies Creating and implementing treatment plans and regularly evaluating the effectiveness of treatment plans
Required Qualifications:
Mental Health Therapist II Master's Degree in a behavior science or related field One year of full-time experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and families Current clinical license as a mental health professional in the State of Minnesota (LP, LPCC, LICSW or LMFT) with no restrictions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Current and valid licensure as LICSW, LMFT, LP or LPCC or license-eligible Experience collaborating with school systems and school personnel Proven success collaborating on interdisciplinary teams Previous experience in providing services to children, adolescents and families is preferred.
