Job Description
Autism Institute Of Minnesota (Aim) in Saint Paul, MN is looking for a Behavioral Therapist to join our team. We are located on 1973 Sloan Pl Suite 100. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, creative, and reliable. The Behavioral Therapist will directly contribute to by overseeing the implementation of quality, clinical programming. Participate in developing and modifying the client's Individualized treatment plan, monitoring progress, reviewing treatment outcomes and data collection. To qualify, the candidate must: Have either: At least 2,000 hours of clinical experience and/or training in the examination and/or treatment of people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or a related condition AND, must meet at least one of the following requirements : Have bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral health, child development or related fields. Be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral (BCBA-D) or a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, Inc. (BACB) Have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral health, child development or a related field. Be a Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) through the BACB and have 4,000 hours of supervised clinical experience that meets all registration, supervision and continuing education requirements of the certification Enroll as a level I provider under the provider shortage variance if they meet all of the following requirements: Have completed or are currently enrolled in a master's degree program at an accredited college or university in one of the behavioral or child-development sciences or a related field. Experience or training includes the examination and/or treatment of people with ASD or a related condition.
Ideal Candidate:
Must qualify as a Level I provider, per the above requirements. Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to bring enthusiasm and energy into therapy sessions. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
