Behavior Therapist

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Behavior Therapist in the Savage, Shakopee, Jordan area— the job is fun, flexible and offers a rewarding experience for our employees and the opportunity to change lives. Provide 1:1 individualized intensive early intervention behavior therapy services to children with autism in their home, school and community environments. Sessions are typically 2-4 hours in length. Assist Senior Behavior Therapists as requested in conducting assessments and training of staff, parents, and community members utilizing methods that have been demonstrated through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to be effective in developing typical home and community language, social, and self-control skills. Provide services that place the highest priority on an ethical regard for the best interests of the children served. Travel between 1:1 sessions in the Twin Cities metro area. A reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license is required for this role.

Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a high school diploma & currently be enrolled in or have completed a bachelor's degree program at an accredited college or university in behavioral health, child development or a related field (e.g., mental health, special education, social work, psychology, speech pathology, occupational therapy).
