In this role, you will deliver cutting-edge ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, combining your expertise in mental health treatment with emerging research and clinical practices. Your energetic approach will help guide patients through transformative experiences, fostering healing and resilience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment dedicated to advancing mental health care through evidence-based therapies and personalized patient support. Duties Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including intake evaluations, diagnostic coding (ICD-9, ICD-10), and treatment planning tailored to individual needs. Facilitate ketamine-assisted psychotherapy sessions, integrating techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and other modalities suited for mental health improvement. Manage patient care throughout the treatment process, including crisis intervention, behavior management, and grief counseling when necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate social work principles, addiction counseling strategies, and trauma-informed care. Maintain meticulous medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while utilizing electronic medical records for accurate data collection and progress tracking. Provide telehealth services to expand access to care for diverse populations, including working with children, geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, and those experiencing PTSD or chronic pain. Engage in clinical research activities to contribute to the evolving field of ketamine therapy and behavioral health innovations. Experience Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, or behavioral therapy. Prior work in outpatient or inpatient settings with a focus on mental health counseling or substance use disorder treatment. Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical documentation standards. Telehealth experience is highly preferred to support remote patient care delivery. Background working with diverse populations including children, individuals with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, geriatrics, or those with complex trauma such as PTSD. Knowledge of crisis management protocols and experience in crisis intervention techniques. Strong understanding of behavioral health treatments including applied behavior analysis (ABA), social work principles, grief counseling, and chronic pain management strategies. Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining a patient-centered approach focused on safety and well-being.
