Ideally, this clinician would be experienced and have formalized training in an empirically-supported couples therapy framework such as Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and/or the Gottman Method. Additional training in a trauma-informed theoretical framework (e.g., EMDR, DBT, somatic experiencing, etc.) is preferred. Fully-licensed clinicians are encouraged to apply. Specific knowledge and experience within couples/family therapy is essential for this position. We have developed a robust reputation in the area for providing top-notch services for people struggling with attachment trauma, betrayal trauma, sex addiction, and relationship distress. While private pay caseloads can take time to fill, we receive numerous referrals for couples therapists, especially those well-versed in healing attachment trauma. Additionally, clinicians at Cozy Chair Counseling work closely together to provide in-house referrals. Our clinicians specialize in attachment trauma, betrayal trauma, and sex addiction, and we're looking for someone to support this important work of helping couples and clients dealing with relationship distress. Our Values Clinicians at Cozy Chair Counseling are highly valued for their individualized strengths and skills. One of our primary goals is supporting our clinicians in building a six-figure income. This is achieved through encouraging a healthy money mindset, the ability to set your own rates, and a generous compensation structure including quarterly bonuses. We are seeking a candidate interested in building up a full-time case load (23-27 client hours/week). Bonuses are awarded quarterly based on revenue generated. We fully support and encourage work-life balance, which translates into the expectation that full-time clinicians are working toward seeing 23+ clients/week, but no more than 27 clients/week, unless this is an express goal of the clinician. Clinicians are in complete control of their own schedule, set their own session rates, supported to work with their ideal clients, and may provide in-person and/or virtual therapy at their discretion. Full-time clinicians have their own dedicated office.
