Full-time Job Duties:
Service Delivery Expectations:
1. Provides $184,035 collected service delivery annually. 2. Provides a minimum of one children's day treatment program with an average occupancy of 8 with a program running a minimum 2 hours per day/160 days per year and 4 hours per day 40 days per year. 3. Maintains client confidentiality at all times. 4. Provides assessments, individual, group, and family therapy and day treatment in compliance with DMH standards.
Documentation and Quality Improvement:
5. Documents appropriate activities in case note format that justify the need for treatment. Case notes must be documented daily for therapy services. For day treatment, weekly summary notes must be completed as well as a monthly review of the treatment plan that justifies the need for continuing treatment. 6. Completes and submits service logs per agency policy. 7. Maintains case record documentation that is adequate, appropriate, complete, and timely. 8. Maintains outcome information for client's being discharged from day treatment program. 9. Works with treatment team to collect necessary information for PA submission. Assists with PA process as assigned.
Interpersonal and Leadership Skills:
10. Attends and participates appropriately in clinical staffings. 11. Responds to clients needs in an appropriate and timely manner. 12. Demonstrates appropriate interactions with coworkers that promote a pleasant work environment.
Support Duties:
13. Completes additional job duties assigned by supervisor. 14. Provides clinical supervision for day treatment programs when assigned. 15. Seeks professional certification and/or licensure and clinical training opportunities. 16. Participates in interagency collaboration for the provision of client services when assigned. Serves as liaison with local school systems providing progress reports and program information in a timely manner. 17. Notifies County Administrator a minimum of two hours in advance of any program absence so that County Administrator can arrange program coverage if necessary. 18.
When utilizing a CCS vehicle:
Signs out vehicles in compliance with CCS policy. Completes inspection prior to driving. Maintains safe driving habits. Ensures cleanliness of vehicles. 19. Serves as lead or back-up emergency on-call person when requested to do so. (annually at a minimum)
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Clinical licensure or DMH certification within 30 days of hire and maintained throughout duration of employment Requires excellent time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Requires satisfactory completion of CPR prior to reporting to the work site. Requires satisfactory completion of CPI within 30 days of employment. Requires ability to be covered under company insurance to drive a company vehicle for client transportation (as requested). Requires valid driver's license and current auto liability insurance. Requires ability to transport clients in private vehicle when necessary. Requires completion of annual training in compliance with DMH standards. Requires working knowledge of the
DSM. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
Previous experience as a therapist in a mental health setting strongly preferred. Previous experience working with an SMI/SED or DD population in a treatment setting strongly preferred.
