This position offers an exciting opportunity to deliver evidence-based therapies, conduct thorough assessments, and support individuals through their mental health journeys. Responsibilities Conduct detailed clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to determine client needs and treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing therapeutic modalities such as psychotherapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety during acute episodes. Facilitate intake procedures for new clients, including medical documentation, medical terminology review, and HIPAA-compliant record keeping. Develop and execute personalized treatment plans incorporating behavioral health principles, social work practices, and case management techniques. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care across inpatient, outpatient, clinic settings, or telehealth platforms. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care activities while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Engage in clinical research activities and data collection efforts to support program improvement and evidence-based practice development. Utilize expertise in working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), geriatrics, or patients experiencing PTSD or grief. Apply specialized skills in addiction counseling, gender issues counseling, chronic pain counseling, or working with individuals with disabilities as needed. Skills Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, or behavioral therapy. Strong knowledge of crisis intervention methods and crisis management protocols. Excellent communication skills for conducting intake assessments and patient interviews effectively. Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for diagnostic evaluation documentation. Experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Ability to utilize telehealth platforms for remote patient care delivery. Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health and mental health counseling practices. Skills in case management and social work principles to coordinate comprehensive patient support services. Competence in managing group therapy sessions and facilitating therapeutic activities such as art or dance therapy.
