Part-Time Durham School-Based Mental Health Therapist

Job Description This is a part time contract position. You must have an active

NCTRACKS

account in order to be considered as we are hiring for this position immediately! Licensed or provisionally licensed (LCMHC, LPC, LCSW, LMFT) therapist needed for outpatient therapy position working with children in a school setting in the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. This position will begin in August 2025 but prior training and other onboarding needs such as NC Tracks completion must be done prior to starting which can sometimes take up to 30 days. Services include, but are not limited to, the following services: Individual counseling and support to occur mainly during school hours. Group counseling and support to occur mainly during school hours Family counseling, training or support, to occur before or after school hours Initial intake and Comprehensive Clinical Assessment Case management and care coordination required to include: monthly CFT meetings, attendance at school-based MH meetings, and regular communication with school personnel, teachers, and school counselors, other duties as assigned Occasional community-based sessions depending on needs of families and clients served Electronic documentation submitted within 24 hours of services rendered

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Masters degree in human service related field Licensed as one of the following:

LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC

Prior experience providing mental health services to children Competency with individual, group, and family therapy

Active NC Tracks Account-required Location:
