Job Description

Join our dynamic mental health team as a Therapist, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, evidence-based care to diverse populations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your clinical expertise to make a meaningful difference in individuals' lives across outpatient and inpatient settings. You will engage in comprehensive patient assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver a variety of therapeutic interventions designed to promote mental wellness and behavioral health. Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately document patient conditions. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions incorporating modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis. Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage acute mental health episodes effectively and ensure patient safety. Deliver specialized counseling services including addiction counseling, grief counseling, PTSD care, gender issues counseling, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism. Maintain detailed medical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations while ensuring accurate medical records and progress notes are up-to-date. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on case management, treatment planning, and behavioral health strategies tailored to each client's needs. Utilize telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions, expanding access to care for clients in various settings. Engage in clinical research activities when applicable, contributing to the advancement of mental health practices and evidence-based treatments. Master's degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution. Valid licensure or certification OR provisional as required by state law (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCSWA, LCASA). Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, or behavioral therapy. Demonstrated expertise in crisis management and crisis intervention protocols. Familiarity with
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding systems for diagnostic purposes and medical terminology relevant to behavioral health. Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics or individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. Strong skills in medical documentation, patient assessment, and case management within outpatient or inpatient settings. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards and confidentiality regulations related to medical records. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams utilizing telehealth technology when needed.
