Job Description

Entry-Level Behavior Therapist (RBT/ABA) Part-Time | $28/hour | Performance-Based Growth | Structured Clinical Support About This Role Do you have experience working with children — as a teacher, paraprofessional, nanny, daycare provider, camp counselor, coach, or in another child-focused role — and are looking for a meaningful next step in your career? We are hiring an individual willing to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) . If you're new to the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), that's okay — we provide structured training and strong clinical support to help you learn. In this role, you will work 1:1 with children to help them build communication, social, and daily living skills. You will be supported by a supervising clinician (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) who provides consistent guidance, modeling, and feedback until you feel confident and competent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who: Loves working with children Values structure and clear expectations Wants to see measurable growth and progress Is open to learning a science-based approach to behavior and skill development What You'll Be Doing Work one-on-one with children in their home or community setting Follow structured skill-building/behavior plans created by your supervising clinician Teach communication, social, play, and independence skills Support positive behavior development using ABA strategies Take accurate notes daily on the events of your session Communicate professionally with families and your supervisor Participate in weekly supervision and apply feedback You are never expected to "figure it out alone." Our model emphasizes strong supervision and direct communication so you always know what to do and why you're doing it. Our Support Model We intentionally structured our company to prevent burnout and confusion: Small team (single-supervisor department) Direct communication between you and your supervisor only Clear expectations and instructions High-value supervision and hands-on training until you feel confident Emphasis on measurable client progress We believe job satisfaction is rooted in client growth — and from feeling competent in your work. Hours & Scheduling 10-15 hours per week per client Up to 3 clients Client schedules are based on family availability You will receive the child's schedule, age, and basic-leaner profile before accepting a case Minimum 6-month commitment requested once you accept a client We offer flexibility in volume of hours and a generous time-off request process. Compensation $28 per hour starting wage Annual performance-based pay increases Company-required additional trainings: $15/hour Late-converted appointments (after 24 hours): $15/hour Mileage reimbursement: $0.25 per mile (Calculated after the first 30 minutes of travel from your home to the client location) Please note: Time spent completing necessary activities to maintain certification (initial certification, annual competency assessments, continuing education credits) are unpaid.
