Job Description

About Dignity in Healing Collective Dignity in Healing Collective (DHC) is a nonprofit organization rooted in the belief that dignity is the missing link in transforming healthcare. We work to expand access to behavioral health by growing and diversifying the healthcare workforce—redefining who providers are and creating pathways for people who have historically been excluded from the field. Our work moves across three integrated pillars: training behavioral health support professionals, expanding the workforce through evidence-based collaborative care models, and advocating for policy that increases access and representation. We believe that healing happens in relationship—with patients, with communities, and with one another. At DHC, we are building a healthcare ecosystem that centers dignity, lived experience, and whole-person care. If that vision resonates with you, we want to hear from you. Position Overview Are you passionate about providing truly integrative, whole-person care—and energized by helping others grow into that same vision? We're seeking a Licensed Mental Health Provider to join our collaborative healthcare ecosystem at Dignity in Healing Collective.
This is a dual-impact role:
you will provide direct behavioral health services to patients while also supervising and facilitating learning for our Dignity Learners and Care Managers—the heart of our workforce development model. Both dimensions of this work are equally essential. If you are a skilled clinician who also finds meaning in mentorship, training, and building others up, this role was designed with you in mind. Essential FunctionsClinical Care Coordinate all phases of care including initial assessment, care planning, monitoring, education, and counseling for patients seeking mental health services. Evaluate, interpret, monitor, and document patient status and needs using established standards of care and practice guidelines. Provide individual and group mental health services integrated with patients' broader medical and wellness goals. Support community education and awareness on the value of integrative, mind-body medicine. Collaborate with practitioners within and beyond DHC, facilitating warm handoffs and continuity of care. Function as an integral member of an interdisciplinary clinical team. Develop, review, update, and implement educational and clinical materials that meet the needs of patients and care teams. Maintain licensure and uphold professional standards of relevant associations. Supervision & Workforce Development Provide clinical supervision to DHC Care Managers in alignment with Nebraska licensure requirements. Facilitate training and ongoing consultation for Dignity Learners—non-licensed individuals we are preparing to deliver healing-centered behavioral health support. Foster a reflective, strengths-based supervisory approach that honors the lived experiences each learner brings. Support learners in developing clinical judgment, self-awareness, and professional identity through regular supervision. Collaborate with the DHC training team to refine curriculum, supervision models, and workforce development practices. Contribute to building a culture of learning, accountability, and care within the DHC team. Ideal Candidate Qualities Deep commitment to anti-oppressive, healing-centered, and dignity-affirming therapeutic practice. Enthusiasm for working alongside non-licensed providers and investing in their growth as healers. Genuine curiosity and capacity for continued learning and professional development. Comfort with interdisciplinary collaboration—this work happens in relationship, not in silos. Creativity and flexibility in an integrative, evolving care environment. Capacity for collective leadership and self-management in a mission-driven, startup context. Ability to manage administrative and financial responsibilities necessary for sustainable client care. At Dignity in Healing Collective we value a diverse workforce and an inclusive culture. OIC encourages applications from all qualified individuals without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, national origin, marital status, disability, veteran status, and any other characteristic protected under applicable law.
