Job Description

Job Summary We are looking for a compassionate, skilled Full Time or Part Time Outpatient Therapist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals experiencing a range of mental health concerns, including grief, chronic pain, and behavioral health challenges. This position involves working with a diverse client population—including geriatric clients—and may include providing care through telehealth. The Outpatient Therapist will use evidence-based approaches to support clients on their path toward improved mental wellness. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment plans. Deliver therapy using a variety of modalities, such as CBT, DBT, and other behavioral health techniques. Provide counseling and support for clients coping with grief, chronic pain, and other emotional or behavioral concerns. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with ICD-10 standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and holistic care. Participate in ongoing professional development to remain current with best practices in mental health treatment. Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed, including those focused on special education needs or other relevant topics. Requirements Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Current state licensure as a therapist or counselor. Experience in therapeutic settings, with pediatric experience preferred. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and best practices for delivering remote care. Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and the ability to apply them effectively. Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Experience in special education or grief counseling is a plus.
