About Achievement Behavior Services (ABS): Founded in 2015 by a dedicated team of BCBAs and LCSWs, Achievement Behavior Services is a boutique ABA agency committed to providing personalized, in-home and in-community support for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Using the proven principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), our mission is to help each learner improve communication, adaptability, and independence through individualized, data-driven care. Why Join ABS as a Behavior Technician? Competitive hourly pay : $22-$32 per hour (based on experience, education, and credentials) Set, part-time schedule : Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM Serve one client in East Brunswick, NJ (08816) Ongoing support : Supervision and training provided by experienced BCBAs Opportunities to pursue RBT certification and grow professionally Be part of a mission-driven ABA network focused on quality care and family support
What You'll Do:
Deliver 1:1 in-home ABA therapy based on an individualized Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) Use ABA techniques like discrete trial training , prompting, and positive reinforcement Build rapport with the client to support communication, focus, and behavioral goals Collect data during each session to track the child's progress Participate in supervision and apply clinical feedback from a BCBA supervisor Maintain professional, respectful communication with the family and clinical team
Qualifications:
Background in:
Psychology, ABA, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology Preferred :
RBT certification (not required to start) Experience working with children, especially with ASD or developmental disabilities Strong communication skills, adaptability, and reliability Ability to collect accurate session data and follow clinical plans Compassionate and creative approach to child engagement Must be able to travel to the client's home in East Brunswick, NJ (08816) Interested in making a difference in the life of a child?
