Position Summary:
We are currently hiring dedicated and compassionate individuals to work as Behavior Technicians. You will work alongside a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement customized intervention plans and teach essential life skills in settings such as homes, schools, and community environments. As a Behavior Technician, you'll deliver evidence-based interventions, track progress, and assist clients in reaching their goals. Behavior Therapist (BT)
Key Duties:
Carry out individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA to meet each client's specific needs. Provide one-on-one instruction using ABA techniques like discrete trial training (DTT), natural environment teaching, and behavior management. Accurately collect and log data on client behavior and progress using specified methods. Help clients build functional skills in areas such as communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living. Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages learning, engagement, and independence. Collaborate with the BCBA and other team members to review progress and make necessary adjustments to intervention strategies. Communicate regularly with clients, caregivers, and team members, sharing progress updates and important information. Requirements:
Ability to follow detailed instructions, implement behavior plans effectively, and collect data accurately. Reliable transportation and a willingness to travel to homes, schools, or community settings. Strong commitment to ethical standards, client confidentiality, and promoting an inclusive, positive environment. Patience, compassion, and dedication to helping individuals achieve their goals.
