Job Description

We are looking for an energetic, creative, and compassionate behavior technician to work in-home with a client in Egg Harbor Township, NJ! We are looking for a clinician that can work 2-3 days a week for two-hour sessions between the hours of 12pm and 4pm. Marking Milestones Behavior Health comprises a team of dedicated professionals who provide neurodiversity-affirming, quality care to autistic individuals rooted in the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Founded, owned, and run by a BCBA, Marking Milestones is dedicated to ongoing and purposeful professional growth for staff as well as support and meaningful care for clients and families served. The ABA Therapist/Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is an essential role, in which the responsibility lies in providing 1:1, direct care to autistic children, teens, and adults in their homes and in the community. Contrary to typical direct care positions, the ABA therapist/RBT works with a focus on teaching skills related to communication, social wellbeing, activities of daily living (ADLs), and more to clients. The ABA therapist/RBT works under the ongoing supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), by which they receive support, education, mentorship, and guidance. The BCBA is responsible for developing a treatment plan that outlines individualized goals for each client while the ABA therapist/RBT is responsible for implementing the plan and targeting the outlined goals. The ABA therapist/RBT will collect data on their client's goals during each session as a means of tracking progress. ABA Therapists/RBTs should possess the following skills: Collaborative mindset Knowledge surrounding autism spectrum disorder (ASD) Strong, open communication Committed to growth (both personally and for clients) Adaptable to change Experience in and education as related to the field of either ABA or related (psychology, education, human services, etc.) is highly preferred. The ABA Therapist/RBT will receiving training and ongoing mentorship and supervision by their supervisor (BCBA). All ABA therapists/RBT are required to: (1) be 18+ years of age, (2) possess at least a high school diploma/GED, and (3) have reliable transportation.
