Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder, to implement personalized behavior intervention plans. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), promoting independence and skill development. Support clients during therapy sessions, ensuring a safe and engaging environment that encourages learning and positive behavior management. Maintain accurate medical documentation, care plans, and behavioral records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with team members, families, and caregivers to ensure consistency in behavioral strategies across settings. Participate in ongoing training related to behavioral therapy, medical terminology, and confidentiality standards to enhance service quality. Skills Strong understanding of behavioral therapy techniques and principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder. Ability to assist with ADLs such as grooming, feeding, toileting, and other self-care skills. Proficiency in data collection methods and maintaining detailed medical records. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to behavioral health and special education settings. Excellent teaching skills with patience and empathy to support diverse needs. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance to ensure confidentiality of sensitive information. Effective behavior management strategies to promote positive client outcomes.
