Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) Applied Behavior Analysis Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work directly with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, to implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your efforts will help foster meaningful progress in communication, social skills, and daily living activities. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact while gaining valuable experience in behavioral health and special education. Responsibilities Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support clients' developmental goals Collect and record data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting, promoting independence Use behavioral management techniques to encourage positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors Collaborate with team members to develop and update care plans tailored to each client's needs Maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and ensuring all medical documentation and records are accurate and up-to-date Support clients in educational settings by applying teaching strategies aligned with special education practices Experience Prior experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of behavioral therapy techniques, including ABA methods, is a plus Familiarity with medical terminology, medical documentation, and care plans is advantageous Strong communication skills and patience are essential for working effectively with clients, families, and team members Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain thorough documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards Join us in creating a nurturing environment where every individual can thrive! Pay:
