Job Description
The Outpatient Clinician is a full-time, on-site role based in Las Vegas, NV. This clinician provides individual, group, and family therapy services to clients in outpatient, intensive outpatient, and partial-hospitalization levels of care, utilizing evidence-based and holistic approaches aligned with the center's philosophy. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting biopsychosocial assessments, developing and updating individualized treatment plans, and maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with state, licensing, and payer requirements. The role involves coordinating care with multidisciplinary team members, participating in case consultations, and communicating with external providers, referral sources, and family members as appropriate. The Outpatient Clinician also supports client crisis intervention, contributes to program development, and actively promotes a safe, inclusive, and trauma-informed treatment environment. Qualifications Minimum - Licensure internship or eligibility (e.g. CSW-I, MFT-I, CPC-I, CADC-I, etc.). Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a related behavioral health field. Preferred - Licensure or eligibility (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, LADC, or associate-level equivalent) and a master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or a related behavioral health field. Demonstrated skills in individual, group, and family counseling, including assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical evaluation. Experience or strong interest in substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health treatment, with familiarity in evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, MI, and trauma-informed care. Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, including medical, psychiatric, case management, and support staff. Strong clinical documentation skills, including accurate, timely progress notes, treatment plans, discharge summaries, and regulatory-compliant records. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build therapeutic rapport with diverse clients and their support systems. Commitment to a holistic, client-centered, and culturally responsive approach to care, including sensitivity to the needs of military veterans and other underserved populations.
