  • 30/hour (based on qualifications & credentials) Flexible part-time after-school schedules Work under the supervision of experienced BCBAs Opportunities to pursue Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification Ongoing training, mentorship, and career growth opportunities Role Overview As a Behavior Technician (ABA Therapist) at our Malverne ABA Center , you'll work 1:1 with students in a clinic setting , implementing individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) designed by a supervising BCBA.
You'll help children develop communication, social, and daily living skills in a structured, supportive environment. Daily Responsibilities Provide direct ABA therapy to children in a center/clinic setting Engage students in structured, goal-oriented activities Implement ABA strategies (prompting, modeling, reinforcement, redirection, DTT) Collect session data and maintain progress documentation Collaborate with BCBAs, supervisors, and clinic staff Communicate effectively with families and team members Qualifications Education in
ABA, Psychology, Special Education, Occupational Therapy, or Speech-Language Pathology Preferred:
Active RBT certification (not required — training provided) Experience working with children (autism/developmental needs preferred) Strong communication skills and reliability Compassionate, engaging, and adaptable professional approach Current Clinic-Based Case Openings
