Position Summary:
Unison Health is seeking a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our team. This position provides direct therapeutic services to individuals experiencing mental health and substance use disorders. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing individual, group, and family therapy. The role also requires care coordination, client advocacy, and linkage to community resources to support recovery and overall well-being. The clinician will work with both mental health and substance use disorder populations in individual and group treatment settings.
Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights:
Conduct diagnostic assessments through in-person or telehealth appointments under the supervision of a licensed independent clinician. Provide individual, group, and family counseling services and develop treatment plans for assigned clients. Deliver services in compliance with state regulations and established agency policies and procedures. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services in the electronic health record system. Provide office-based case management and support individuals with both mental health and substance use disorder (SUD) needs.
Education & Experience Requirements:
Requires a BSW in social work or a master's degree in social work or counseling. Dual MH/SUD license preferred. Prior experience preferred. Required CPR certification within 90 days of hire. Required CPI certification within 90 days of hire. Must be at least 21 years of age. Must demonstrate knowledge of mental illness, individual, group counseling skills, assessment skills, and crisis intervention skills. Must demonstrate the ability to define problems, analyze data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions and make recommendations. Must demonstrate a positive attitude, commitment to provide superior service, and enthusiastic support for the mission of the agency. Must demonstrate personal integrity, the ability to develop and work as part of a team, and a commitment to the mission of the agency. Must be able to work with ill, disabled, emotionally upset and at times hostile individuals.
