Job Description

IHBT Child and Family TherapistDayton OhioDescription Values Employees of Darke County Recovery Services, DBA Recovery & Wellness Centers of Midwest Ohio are expected to value highest ethical standards, quality clinical care, and good customer service. We also value quality communication skills in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary and often multi-agency service environment.
Responsibilities:
Deliver 3-5 hours of therapy per week to clients and families in their homes or community settings for 3-6 months . Provide individual and family psychotherapy , crisis intervention , and substance use disorder treatment . Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Coordinate with schools, juvenile justice, child welfare, and other community systems. Offer rehabilitative skill development , advocacy , and resource linkage . Maintain documentation and comply with Medicaid and agency standards.

Teamwork Judgment/Decision Making Communication Skills Trustworthiness & Ethics Accountability Communication, Verbal and Written Problem solving Organizational skills Technology Skills Client Service/Commitment to Service Med Trainer Job Knowledge and Skill Application Requirements Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field. Licensure in Ohio (e.g., LPC, LPCC, LSW, LISW ); independent licensure often preferred. Experience working with youth and families, especially in home or community settings. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings. Strong communication, organizational, and crisis management skills. Preferred Skills Familiarity with trauma-informed care, co-occurring disorders, and evidence-based practices. Cultural competency and ability to work with diverse populations. Team collaboration and multidisciplinary coordination.
