Job Description

Join us as we expand our reach and impact in behavioral health care. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mental Health Primary Therapist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive mental health services, including individual, group, and family therapy, to diverse populations. Your expertise will help clients navigate their mental health journeys, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities and crisis intervention techniques. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference while advancing your clinical skills in a supportive environment. Conduct thorough patient assessments and treatment planning. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with each client's needs, including those with depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, schizophrenia and personalities disorders. Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis management techniques and crisis intervention strategies to ensure client safety and stability. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management efforts to support patient care continuity across outpatient and inpatient settings. Engage in clinical research activities when applicable to improve therapeutic outcomes and stay current with industry best practices. Master's degree or Bachelor degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field; licensure or certification as required by state regulations (e.g., LSW, LISW, LPC). Proven experience in psychotherapy with diverse populations; experience working with adults with mental health concerns. Strong knowledge of behavioral health modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, addiction counseling, grief counseling, trauma-informed care (including PTSD), and social work principles. Excellent crisis management skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations calmly and effectively. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards and medical terminology essential for accurate documentation. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while demonstrating compassion and professionalism. Pay:
$68,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
