Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Behavior Therapist to join our team! In this rewarding role, you will implement individualized treatment plans, support children's learning and development, and collaborate with families and team members to promote positive behavior change. Responsibilities Implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles to support children's growth. Assist children with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene routines. Collect and record data accurately during therapy sessions to monitor progress and inform treatment adjustments. Support children with autism and developmental disabilities in various settings, ensuring a safe and engaging environment. Collaborate with supervisors to develop, review, and update individualized care plans tailored to each child's needs. Maintain confidentiality by adhering to HIPAA regulations and managing sensitive medical records responsibly. Use effective behavior management strategies to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors. Requirements Prior experience or training in behavioral therapy, working with children, or special education is preferred. An Associates degree or equivalent credits Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and support behavioral health goals. Consistently dependable with strong punctuality and attendance. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, team members, and other professionals. Compassionate attitude with patience and enthusiasm for working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities.
