Day Shift Description:
POSITION PURPOSE
The Child/Adolescent Therapist provides psychotherapy for clients within both the school and office settings. The role requires the clinician to be comfortable and confident working with individuals and their families exhibiting mental health symptoms. The Child/Adolescent Therapist will assess clients, determine a course of treatment, and implement the treatment plans for clients while providing clinical interventions and resources. This role requires close collaboration with families, treatment providers, and educational organizations to achieve client goal progress.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Provide psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and clinical interventions for clients and parents/guardians when applicable Complete biopsychosocial assessments to determine client's strengths, needs, and diagnosis Complete documentation within the electronic health record in congruence with organizational policies and regulatory requirements Engage with parents/guardians to strategize methods of supporting client goal progress and wellbeing Collaborate with members of the treatment team, school partners, community members, and third-party providers Attend and participate in clinical, administrative, and community partner meetings
MINIMUM QUALILFICATIONS
Master's in Human Services and 1 year of care delivery experience. Graduate degree from a college or university that is accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in a generally recognized clinical discipline in which the degree program includes a clinical practicum Pre-Employment Drug Screen Access to reliable transportation Act 33

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS AND BENEFITS
Work Schedule:
Part time 37.5 hours per week / 5 days per week. This is a Non-Exempt (hourly) position Monday through Friday, primarily 8:00am-4:00pm, with two evenings available per week for office clients.
