They will be responsible to cover a caseload at the PHP/IOP level of care. The Therapist is responsible for performing a variety of client care activities as directed by the Clinical Director and other members of the team. They will be responsible for patient caseload, providing group, individual, and family therapy. This therapist will be conducting biopsychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans and taking care of any other case management needs. They collaborate with the treatment team to formulate the master treatment plan for each client, assists in coordinating discharge planning while functioning under the guidance of their licensure, registration and/or certification and in accordance with the regulations, rules, and requirements of State and Federal government and accrediting organizations.
Job Duties:
Formulate a comprehensive treatment plan with patient that effectively addresses client needs Facilitate daily process groups connecting treatment plan goals and objectives Participate effectively in multidisciplinary treatment plan reviews, demonstrating adequate preparation and understanding of client needs, progress, areas of resistance, positive and negative strategies, etc. Complete intake evaluations Document the client's progress accurately as it relates to treatment goals and objectives Provide individual counseling to clients Maintain regular contact and open communication with families consisting of family sessions when appropriate or needed. Maintain confidentiality by abiding by all HIPAA regulations Link client with internal and external resources as needed to meet needs Ensure that documentation is timely, consistent, clear and articulate Develop a continuing care plan that meets client needs for ongoing support Learn and use company required software, such as Electronic Health/Medical Records Display positivity and a willingness to encourage team morale Ability to perform other assigned duties/tasksQualifications and Requirements:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or Healthcare related major, required. Must have at least 3 years of previous mental health clinical experience Must be comfortable and competent in working with individuals who have experienced complex mental, emotional, or relational trauma Must be comfortable speaking in front of a group, and leading small-group dynamics Must be well organized, be flexible and willing to participate and contribute within a teamAbilities/Competencies:
Knowledge of principles and practices of the discipline. Ability to work effectively as a team member Ability to interpret and understand basic insurance benefits/reimbursement Ability to prioritize and communicate effectively Comfortable working autonomously when needed Adheres to Code of Ethics and state regulations Knowledge of HIPAA/Confidentiality Demonstrate Competencies in assessing mental health, trauma/abuse/neglect, suicide/homicide risk, etcAdditional Details:
