The Clinic for Healing and Change is a growing hybrid private practice committed to providing compassionate and effective therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families based in the Sacramento, CA area, and offering virtual service statewide. With a team of highly skilled and dedicated professionals, we strive to create a supportive and healing environment for our clients. We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate AssociateMFT, LPCC, MSW
to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing our patients with a therapeutic environment to heal, grow and change in order to become the best versions of themselves.Job Description:
As an Associate MFT, PCC, MSW, you will work closely with licensed therapists to provide therapy services under their supervision. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable clinical experience while making a positive impact on the lives of our clients.Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting individual, couples, and family therapy sessions with clients. Collaborating with licensed therapists to develop treatment plans and goals. Administering assessments and conducting intake interviews to gather relevant client information. Assisting in crisis intervention and providing emotional support to clients. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation. Participating in regular case consultations and team meetings. Staying informed about current research and evidence-based practices in the field of mental health.Qualifications:
Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Counseling, or Social Work. Evidence of graduation from an accredited school and Master's Program with a degree in psychology or sociology, making one eligible to take the exams for licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor or Clinical Social Worker. Current and unrestricted registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, Associate Professional Clinical Counselor or Associate Clinical Social Worker. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach. Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment. Ethical and professional conduct in accordance with relevant licensing board regulations. Proficient computer skills and experience with electronic health records systems.Benefits:
