Associate Therapist (Psychological Associate, AMFT, ACSW, APCC)

Duties:

• Collect, record and maintain client data and clinicial notes.
• Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed with Supervising clinician.
• Participate in individual and group supervision, as well as assigned trainings.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients during their treatment.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for clients

Requirements:

• Master's Degree or Doctorate Degree and Registered as an Associate with licensing board or waiting for number (Associate can be a Master's or Doctorate level Associate.)
• Previous experience in providing therapy to clients preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Desire to work in private practice, two days of in office sessions required. It will start with one and increase as clients increase.
• Knowledge of mental health disorders and treatment methods
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines Not required, however, clinicians wanting to work with children under 12 and/or family systems, highly suggested to apply.

Practicum students may also apply (pay not provided for practicum students).

Pay:

Master's Degree $40/Billable Hour, Doctorate Degree only or Masters plus 1500 hours $45/Billable Hour. Doctorate Degree plus 1500 hours $50/Billable Hour. Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
