Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with clients to assess and address behavioral challenges, providing therapeutic support to enhance their emotional and psychological well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of various therapeutic techniques and the ability to foster a supportive client environment. Duties Conduct assessments to evaluate clients' behavioral, emotional, and psychological needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support clients in achieving their goals. Monitor clients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to discuss and coordinate care and improve client outcomes. Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment interventions. Utilize psychopharmacology knowledge when necessary to inform treatment decisions. Engage in community outreach efforts to raise awareness about mental health resources. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Prefer with Valid licensure as a therapist or counselor in the state of practice. Experience working with diverse populations, especially LGTQA + Strong background in mental health counseling, including coding for insurance purposes. Familiarity with behavioral health practices and direct support services. Knowledge of group therapy techniques and the ability to facilitate effective sessions. Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Join us in making a difference in the lives of those we serve by providing essential therapeutic support.
