Our team members have experience working with adults (individuals and couples), children, adolescents, and families. We offer in person (two office locations: Bethesda, MD and Washington, DC) and telehealth services in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese. This is a contract role for a Psychotherapist. The Psychotherapist will be responsible for providing individual therapy, including children, teens, and adults, couples, and/or family therapy. The role will also involve maintaining accurate and timely client records and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. This is a hybrid role, located in Bethesda, MD, and Washington, DC, with some possible telehealth work. Ideal candidates will have a Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology and are licensed to practice in Maryland and/or Washington, DC . Ideal candidates will also have afternoon and evening availability. This position will work with both in-network BCBS/CareFirst and out-of-network clients. Pay is based on candidates' experience. Most of our clients are international; therefore, ideal candidates should have experience working with international populations and children of international/expat couples and expertise in the following: Child, Adolescent, or Parenting issues Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, or OCD Grief, Trauma, Chronic Illness Life transitions, stress management CBT, EFT or Psychodynamic Therapy EMDR, Mindfulness, or evidence-based therapy models The Global Psychotherapy team will set you up for success by providing you with client referrals, targeted marketing campaigns, and furnished office space in our Bethesda and Washington, DC, locations should you prefer to work in person.
