The ideal candidate will have a strong background in behavioral health and be skilled in various therapeutic modalities. This role involves providing individual and family counseling, utilizing evidence-based practices to support clients in achieving their mental health goals. The Clinical Therapist will work collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans and facilitate progress through therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Provide individual and family counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes. Offer telehealth services as needed, ensuring accessibility for clients. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with medical terminology standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care for clients, including psychopharmacology consultations when appropriate. Stay informed about the latest developments in behavioral health and participate in ongoing professional development. Experience A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required. Valid licensure as a Clinical Therapist or equivalent is preferred. Experience in therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Individual Counseling is highly desirable. Familiarity with special education needs and the ability to work with diverse populations is a plus. Proficiency in Telehealth platforms and practices is beneficial. Strong understanding of psychopharmacology principles related to mental health treatment.
