Working with children Cognitive behavioral therapy Data collection Medical terminology Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking compassionate, provisional or independent license clinicians to join our growing behavioral health team. We are seeking clinicians interested in working with children and adolescents, ages 6-12. This role is designed for clinicians who are currently accruing hours toward independent licensure and are looking for a flexible, supportive environment to hone their clinical skills. This role is also suited for those independently licensed who are looking for a flexible schedule and peer support, while focusing on providing clinical services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a flexible environment that promotes professional growth and client-centered care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough clinical assessments, including intake evaluations and diagnostic evaluations. Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, and others tailored to individual client needs. Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management techniques to ensure client safety and stability during emergencies. Maintain accurate documentation and HIPAA-compliant records while adhering to confidentiality standards. Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to expand access to care while ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards and data collection protocols. Experience Proven experience in clinical mental health counseling or social work within outpatient or inpatient settings. Demonstrated proficiency in psychotherapy techniques such as motivational interviewing, behavioral therapy, and crisis management. Hands-on experience working with children and adolescents. Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation and billing purposes. Must be available to work primarily in-office. Must be available to work evenings or weekends at least 2 days a week. Telehealth experience is also preferred to support flexible service delivery models. Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health conditions is essential for effective documentation and communication. Experience working with diverse populations on issues such as trauma recovery (including PTSD), grief support, family issues, and special education needs is advantageous.
