• And spending your off time OFF Psychotherapy Services of Alabama is a private practice that aims to provide excellent, focused care to individuals.

We are a team of clinical psychologists and clinical social workers looking for another masters level therapist to join our team. PSA is led by Dr. Caitlin Clevenger, a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in adult psychotherapy and assessment and values supporting a team of therapists to meet the high need for therapists in Alabama. We are looking for a child therapist with shared values and specialty areas to join the team:

• LGBTQ+ affirming care
• Behavioral disorders
• Parent-child interaction therapy
• Neuroaffirming care (ADHD, autism)
• Depression, anxiety, OCD
• Teen issues Strong preference is given to an individual who uses the following therapeutic modalities:
• cognitive behavioral therapy
• parent-child interaction training We do not provide brainspotting, LI, or EFT.

If that is your specialty, I'm sorry but we are not the right fit. PSA is a small but growing practice. We have three psychologists and a social worker. The benefits of joining a small practice is that you will get as much direction as you need as you transition to this position. We are each independent given some of us are fully remote but we do consult with one another. We do not wish to micromanage and won't if this is not needed. We don't have meetings that could have been emails, and we work to make work life balance real. We want you to succeed and to be happy! Billing and marketing are handled for you. All you need to do is show up, see/communicate with your clients, and complete your documentation. You set your own schedule, and we will work with you to find what gives you the best work-life balance. 12-15 patient care hours, on average, expected.

Requirements:

• Master's or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field
• Valid license to
• independently
• practice psychotherapy in the state of Alabama (LPC, LICSW, LMFT).
• Experience working with diverse populations and is LGBTQ+ affirming.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality.
• Must be able to work within the following scheduling parameters: in person options on Saturdays and Sundays and virtual options on other days if you wish (or if needed to fill caseload).
