Small Independent Counseling Practice Location :
Hybrid (Remote and In-Person in NE Grand Rapids, MI)

ideal minimum of 20 clients per week Overview Our growing counseling practice is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist (LLMSW/LMSW, LPC, etc) to join our team as an independent contractor. We specialize in providing high-quality, client-centered care to individuals and families and are looking for a therapist with a passion for working with children and diverse populations. This hybrid position offers flexibility, professional development opportunities, and a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities Maintain an ideal minimum caseload of 20 clients per week, with at least 50% of the caseload dedicated to children. Provide individual and/or family therapy using evidence-based practices. Document clinical progress and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with ethical and legal standards. Participate in weekly team collaborative calls/meetings (remote) and monthly in-person meetings. Qualifications Master's degree in social work (MSW) and licensed as an LLMSW or LMSW in the state of Michigan or related. Minimum of 1 year of experience in case management or a mental health-related role (graduate-level MSW internship experience considered). TF-CBT training preferred; candidates must be willing to complete this training (cost covered by the practice). Experience working with children, adolescents, and families. Ability to work both remotely and in person, based in the NE Grand Rapids, MI area. Must carry professional liability insurance. Preferred Skills and Competencies Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including TF-CBT, CBT, and play therapy. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Pay:
$60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
