Starting at $80 per Clinical Hour Opportunity to Grow into a Full-Time Caseload The Relationship Place is a specialty relationship-focused practice seeking an experienced couples therapist to join our growing team. Led by Dr. Dana McNeil, PsyD, LMFT, Certified Gottman Therapist and Gottman Institute Trainer, our practice specializes in helping couples navigate communication challenges, conflict, affair recovery, life transitions, and relationship distress using evidence-based treatment approaches. We are currently seeking a licensed therapist who enjoys working with couples and is interested in building a thriving caseload within an established specialty practice.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position will begin on a part-time basis (approximately 10 clinical hours per week) with the opportunity to expand into a fuller caseload as demand and mutual fit develop. This is a hybrid position, with the majority of services provided in person at our San Diego office. Limited telehealth services may be provided when clinically appropriate. Weekend availability is required.

PM Sunday:

10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide couples therapy utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Build and maintain a recurring caseload Collaborate with the clinical team as needed Participate in case consultation and professional development opportunities Uphold ethical and professional standards of care

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Active California LMFT, LPCC, LCSW, or Psychologist license Minimum one year of experience providing couples therapy Gottman Method Level 2 Training completed Ability to provide in-person services in San Diego Availability to work both Saturdays and Sundays during required hours Strong clinical documentation and communication skills Self-starter with the ability to work independently

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Gottman Method Level 3 Training or Certification Experience with affair recovery, communication issues, and high-conflict couples Previous private practice experience Interest in advanced couples work, intensives, retreats, or workshops

Pay:
