Your expertise in psychotherapy and crisis intervention will empower clients to navigate their emotional landscapes, fostering resilience and growth. You will work collaboratively with children, families, and adults, utilizing evidence-based practices to create tailored treatment plans that promote healing and well-being. This a contract position.
LPC, LCSW
preferred. What you'll do Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to understand clients' needs and develop effective treatment strategies. Provide individual and group counseling sessions, employing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing. Facilitate crisis management interventions to ensure the safety and stability of clients in acute distress. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care for clients with complex needs. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for billing purposes. Engage in direct support activities that enhance patient care, including behavioral management strategies and patient assessments. Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote counseling services, ensuring accessibility for all clients. Basic qualifications Master's degree in psychology, social work, have a LPC, LCSW, LMFT or a related field with relevant licensure or certification. Proven experience in mental health counseling, particularly with children and families. Strong understanding of medical terminology and documentation standards within the mental health field. Preferred qualifications Experience working with diverse populations, including geriatrics and individuals with who has mental challenges such as anxiety, depression. Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities such as CBT. Background in addiction counseling or grief counseling is a plus.
