Responsibilities Conduct thorough intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing patient assessments utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards. Deliver evidence-based therapies including cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, applied behavior analysis, and group therapy tailored to individual needs. Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management techniques to ensure patient safety during acute episodes. Provide specialized counseling for children, adolescents, geriatrics, individuals with autism spectrum disorder, developmental disabilities, PTSD, grief, addiction issues, chronic pain, and gender-related concerns. Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote therapy sessions while maintaining HIPAA compliance and accurate medical documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management, medical records documentation, and research initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Apply social work principles and behavior management techniques to support patients' mental health goals within inpatient or outpatient settings. Experience Proven experience in clinical counseling or mental health therapy within outpatient or inpatient environments. Demonstrated proficiency in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, or applied behavior analysis (ABA). Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation. Experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder is highly desirable. Prior telehealth experience ensuring effective virtual patient engagement while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Knowledge of crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols in behavioral health settings.
