Licensed Mental Health Therapist - PART or
FULL TIME
/ Flexible Powell Mental Health (PMH CT, P.C.) | Concierge Wellness Services At Powell Mental Health and PMH CT PC, our Mental Health Therapists are responsible for supporting the Assistant Clinic Director in overseeing the clinic's performance and operations. This role may support the Powell Mental Health Concierge Wellness Division with our private clientele. Tasks & Responsibilities Assess various mental health diagnoses. Treatment Planning Daily documentation Engage in regular case consultations & clinical staff meetings. Coordinate services with outside providers & internal Powell Mental Health providers. Complete all HIPAA training requirements. Required Skills/Abilities Strong leadership, problem-solving, and executive skill sets Strong working knowledge of state requirements regulating mental health practice. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Working understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to function well in a fast-paced and changing environment. Skilled at learning and navigating Electronic Health Record systems.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or related field. Full clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, LMFT and seasoned LMSW or LPCA) - We accept a limited number of pre-licensed and dedicated professionals, providing full supervision towards licensure. Must possess or must obtain Connecticut Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, or related mental health counseling licensure. 5 year of related experience, which may include hours for obtaining the license. Must have a demonstrated understanding of and stated commitment to diversity, inclusion and equity issues in the delivery of clinical services. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in both client care and staff development. Previous experience working effectively as part of an interdisciplinary behavioral health care team. Minimum 12-15 hours weekly Requirements Master's or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field. A valid Clinical Social Worker License, Marriage and Family Therapy License, or a Clinical Professional Counselor License in Connecticut (required) Proven experience in a leadership role in a mental health therapy office or similar clinical setting. (preferred) In-depth knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and a strong understanding of mental health diagnosis and treatment. (required) Familiarity with Medicaid/Medicare regulations and documentation requirements for mental health services. (preferred) Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of clinicians. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
State of CT Licensed Psychologist or Clinical Social Worker with demonstrated experience providing culturally responsive mental health services. Demonstrated experience providing culturally responsive mental health services to Demonstrated training in brief treatment models. Demonstrated expertise in a minimum of one specific treatment relevant to mental health. Demonstrated experience working within the BIPOC Community Knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation Credentialed with insurance panels.
