Job Description

Join Our Growing Team of Therapists at West County Psychological Associates Are you an experienced licensed mental health professional (Ph.D., Psy
D, LCSW, LPC
) looking for the freedom of private practice without the isolation that often comes with it? West County Psychological Associates is seeking dedicated clinicians to join our growing team. We serve children, adolescents, adults, couples, families, and seniors through therapy, psychological testing, and specialized clinical services. We are looking for therapists who are passionate about helping clients create meaningful, lasting change while continuing to grow professionally themselves. Why Therapists Choose WCPA Many therapists eventually face a choice: Build a practice completely on their own or find a professional home that provides both independence and support. At WCPA, we believe you shouldn't have to choose. Our independant contracted therapists maintain the flexibility and autonomy they value while becoming part of a collaborative team committed to learning, growth, and exceptional client care. What Makes WCPA Different? A True Team Environment Many private practices today function primarily as office-sharing arrangements. Therapists work independently, close their office door, and rarely have meaningful opportunities to collaborate. That is not how WCPA operates. Every week, our therapists come together for consultation, support, case discussion, and professional growth. Every other week, we participate in additional clinical education discussions that help us continue developing our skills and understanding. When our therapists describe these meetings, one word comes up again and again: Grounded. Therapy is meaningful work, but it can also be challenging work. Having a trusted team of experienced professionals to learn from, collaborate with, and process difficult situations alongside helps our therapists remain grounded, confident, and present for the people they serve. Our clinicians often bring challenging situations to the group, gain new perspectives, and leave feeling more confident in their approach. Sometimes the greatest benefit is not finding a new answer—it's knowing you are not carrying the responsibility alone. The result is a culture of teamwork, community, continuous learning, and professional support that is increasingly rare in today's mental health landscape. Focus on Therapy, Not Running a Business We provide: Marketing and advertising Billing and collections Administrative support Office space and overhead expenses Referral development and community relationships Established brand recognition built over 35 years You focus on what you do best: Helping clients.
Additional Benefits:

Founded by Mary Fitzgibbons, PhD, WCPA was built on the belief that therapists should never stop learning and should never have to do this work alone. If you're looking for a place where you can maintain your independence while benefiting from the strength, support, and community of a true clinical team, we'd love to talk with you. Let's explore whether WCPA is the right fit for your next chapter.
