About KC Counseling & Wellness KC Counseling & Wellness is a trauma-focused outpatient practice in Tampa, FL offering individual, couples, and family therapy. We take a holistic and eclectic approach to care — individualizing treatment to meet each client exactly where they are. Our work is rooted in the belief that healing is courageous, that meaningful relationships are possible, and that evidence-based therapy creates real, lasting change. We specialize in trauma (including childhood trauma and PTSD), emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, couples and marital issues, and premarital counseling. Our modalities include EMDR and ART, among others. We're growing and looking for a licensed clinician who brings that same depth of care to their work. What you'll do Provide individual, couples, and family therapy using trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches Conduct thorough intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Work with clients navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, emotional dysregulation, relationship challenges, and personality disorders Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards Apply crisis intervention skills as needed to ensure client safety Deliver sessions in-office and/or via telehealth based on client and clinician preference Mentor student interns by providing case conceptualization assistance and skill development Who we're looking for Active, unrestricted Florida licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, LMHC, or equivalent Grounded in trauma-informed care — experience with EMDR, ART, IFS, TF-CBT, CPT or somatic approaches strongly preferred Comfortable seeing individuals, couples, and/or families across the lifespan Holistic, eclectic clinical orientation with a commitment to individualizing treatment Strong documentation skills and familiarity with ICD-10 and HIPAA standards Self-directed and comfortable operating as an independent contractor Warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental in approach to both clients and colleagues Ready to apply?
