We provide mental health, psychological, and forensic services to children, adolescents, and adults in a structured, professional environment. We are seeking independently licensed clinicians to join our team as 1099 contractors. This role is best suited for clinicians who want a stable outpatient setting with administrative support already in place, while maintaining flexibility and professional independence within a clear practice structure. Position summary The clinician in this role will provide outpatient psychotherapy and related clinical services, with the greatest current need being clinicians who work with children ages 2 to 12 and their families. The practice provides referrals, furnished office space, billing support, and front desk support for scheduling and basic client communication. There is especially strong referral demand for clinicians who work with young children, school-age children, and families. Clinicians who are comfortable seeing children ages 2 to 12 are likely to have strong caseload-building opportunities within the practice. Responsibilities Provide outpatient psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, and/or adults within scope of competence and licensure Conduct diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical care consistent with professional, ethical, and legal standards Maintain timely, accurate, and complete documentation in the electronic health record Coordinate care with schools, primary care providers, psychiatrists, and other professionals when clinically appropriate and properly authorized Follow practice policies regarding scheduling, documentation, cancellations, no-shows, communication, and professional conduct Maintain professional liability insurance and all required licensure and credentials Qualifications Master's degree or doctoral degree in a mental health field, such as Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy Independent clinical license in Illinois and/or Iowa, such as Psychologist, LCSW/LISW, LCPC/LMHC, LMFT, or equivalent independent license Licensed for independent practice and able to work without ongoing supervision Experience providing outpatient therapy to children and adolescents strongly preferred Strong preference for clinicians who are comfortable and interested in working primarily with children ages 2 to 12 Comfort using an electronic health record and standard office technology for documentation and scheduling Ability to work independently while functioning professionally within an established group practice Preferred qualifications Prior experience in outpatient private practice, agency, or community mental health Willingness to maintain at least one consistent evening block per week Interest in building a stable caseload and remaining with the practice long term Interest in psychological testing, forensic work, or consultation is welcome but not required Compensation and schedule This is a 1099 independent contractor position. Compensation is based on a competitive percentage of collected revenue and varies depending on licensure, experience, payer mix, and caseload. Specific compensation details will be discussed during the interview process. This position may be part-time or full-time depending on the clinician's availability, licensure, and caseload development. Regular in-person availability at one of the practice offices is required. This is not a fully remote position.
